| Growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Billed as "America's Most Beautiful City", I remember as a child how streetsweepers went down every street, every evening. It remains to this day, a very "clean" city. I also remember how, in the late 50's and 60's, people didn't even bother locking their doors while they were home. That feeling of security had a lot to do with the tranquility of my childhood in Tulsa. | ||
